Building a custom home is like most things in life – you have to make compromises. We started out with a pretty detailed wishlist for our new home and over time we’ve needed to come to terms with reality. But it’s not all bad, in some cases we were able to add more than we planned for – like solar, thanks to the Residential Renewable Energy Tax Credit!
