Today we met with our architect, Deb, and Dan from Best Custom Homes at our lot for a site visit. We walked the property and showed them the general area where we wanted to place the home. We talked about the features of the lot that were important to us – preserving the large rock outcropping, maximizing privacy, and highlighting the amazing views. We also discussed driveway options and commented about how today was like most days near the top of the mountain – very windy! Deb would take note of all this information and use it in combination with our wish list to start the initial design ideas for Knotty Bear Lodge.
