Shortly after we signed our construction contract, the excavator was pulling up to our lot to put in the driveway. They spent a day clearing out the trees in the path of the new driveway and then spent the next couple of weeks hauling in dirt – literally tons of dirt.

Today, we finally got to drive into our lot for the first time. We were pleasently surprised that the driveway wasn’t nearly as steep as we expected it to be and it was pretty short compared to most of our mountain neighbors.

We had our doubts when Glenn originally wanted to put the driveway in this location, but seeing it now, we’re glad he did!
